Registration
Registration & Participation Guidelines
- Every paper accepted at the conference requires at least one author registered before 23 March, 2026 to guarantee inclusion in the proceedings and presentation at the conference.
- Papers in the Research, Industrial, Demo, Future and Emerging Technologies, PhD symposium, in particular, require the registration to be full (non-student, Conference only or Conference and Workshop).
- Papers in Workshops also require a full (non-student, Workshop only, or Conference and Workshops) registration.
- Lightning Talks and TKDE Posters can be either student or non-student (Conference only or Conference and Workshops).
- ICDE 2026 is a fully physical conference. No online presentation options are provided. Authors are expected to present their work in person.
- Visa invitation letters are generated automatically at the end of the registration if requested during the registration process. Certain embassies may require some specific information in the visa letter (for instance passport number). In these cases, the participant is requested to add the necessary information contact Mostafa Milani (mostafa.milani@uwo.ca) and Jelle Hellings (jhellings@mcmaster.ca).
Cancellation Policy
All refund/cancellation requests must be received in writing to ieeecs-reg+ICDE@computer.org by 01 April, 2026, 11:59 PM AoE Time. There will be an administrative fee of 150.00 USD for cancelled registrations.
Students
- Students will be required to upload proof of their student status at time of registration. Proof of status will be verified by ICDE 2026. Only after the status verification is completed, the student registration will become final.
- Student ID's without clear dates of validity, webpage screenshots and unofficial records will NOT be accepted as proof! Validity of proof must overlap with conference dates.
- Acceptable proof of student status MUST be clearly readable in English language, contain the name of the candidate and the dates of validity. Proof containing a verification code must not fail verification.
- PostDocs don't qualify for student discount.
