ICDE 2026 Student Travel Awards
We are pleased to announce student travel awards to attend ICDE 2026 in Montreal, Canada on May 4-8, 2026. We will provide grants to students to partially cover their travel costs to attend the conference. Priority will be given to students from underrepresented countries, underrepresented groups at the conference, and/or students attending ICDE for the first time. The award is $500 USD for each in-person attendee. The amount could be adjusted based on availability of funds. Awardees are responsible for making their own arrangements for travel and accommodation. The grants are sponsored by the IEEE Technical Committee on Data Engineering (TCDE). Reimbursement details will be provided after acceptance notification.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria
- Applicants must be full-time students in good standing (graduate or undergraduate).
- Affiliated with universities that do not already have a considerable presence at ICDE conferences.
- Applications from underrepresented groups are particularly encouraged.
- Financial need: applicants must explain if there are other funding sources available to support their travel.
- Presenting a paper accepted at the main conference or workshops is welcomed but not mandatory.
